In January 2026, Aisha Dhalla became the next steward of Country Market & Garden Centre, working closely with longtime owner Steve Kurhan to carry the business forward into its next chapter.
Aisha brings over 20 years of experience in communications and event planning. After two decades helping organizations shape their messages and grow their impact, it felt like the right season to build something more tangible. A place rooted in community, care, and the rhythms of the growing year.
She grew up in a small business, Her father owned and operated community pharmacies, where she learned early what it means to serve neighbours, remember names, and take responsibility for something people rely on. That foundation continues to guide how she approaches Gardenerette today.
